Correct battery water level for
bike
If your bike's headlight focus is dim
(or) horn sound is weak (or) signal indicators are not blinking properly (or) your
bike is not starting up when you push the starter button then the problem is definitely
with the battery. Either the battery is expired
or the water level is drained out.
If you top up the water level in the
battery, then your battery again gets back into condition and starts working as
a new battery. Due to drained water level
in the battery the battery is unable to store current in it and thus causing electric
problem to your bike.
Why battery water drains
out
As we use our bike and as the days goes
on the distilled battery water in the battery automatically evaporates naturally
and we have to replace the same distilled battery water periodically to maintain
its efficacy. Due to low distilled water
in the battery the voltage drops in the battery thus causing malfunctioning of the
electric system in your bike. So, top up
with distilled battery water periodically for long life of the battery.
Why our bike's battery
are expiring too early
The reason why our bike's battery are
expiring too early in just months is that the distilled water level in the battery
is not properly maintained periodically and another reason is that there is short
circuit in the wiring.
What should we do to
get long life of bike's battery
In order to get long life from your
bike's battery you have to do proper maintenance periodically.
1) A very important point to be noted
is always fill the battery with only distilled water that was made for battery or
go to battery service point and get it filled.
2) Never over fill the battery with
distilled water. Just fill up to the max
mark on the battery. Never fill beyond that
mark. Over filling with distilled water spoils
the battery immediately by short circuit.
If the distilled water in the battery
is dried up or your battery is overfilled with distilled water then your bike's
battery will spoil quickly within months.
This is the main reason why our bike's batteries are expiring too quickly
within months. So, correct water level is
the thing that we have to bear in mind.
Correct water level means long, long,
long run of your bike's battery life.
